This site was established in Spring 2010, to provide
information and a forum for RV'ers traveling in Mexico and Central America. You can help by spreading the word among your fellow travelers. Our intention is to involve as many RV parks in the process as possible. We provide a place to find travel companions and also a way to help each other out with RV parts that are next to impossible to find in Mexico.
A major part of this site is its
forum. However, it is not a general RV discussion forum. Its purpose is
to provide a sensible place to discuss RV'ing in Mexico without the
usual scare tactics found on others. For general RV discussions, please utilize our friends at RV-Forums.org linked to the left
or RV.net. If you want to discuss living in Mexico and how to go about that, I suggest expatforum.com. Another excellent Mexico info site is Mexico Mike.
There are about 400 RV Parks in
Mexico and about another 100 other sites like hotels & boondocking
locations that you may camp at. While most RV parks are not up to North
American standards (although many are), many do offer full hook-ups of
a sort. You may also camp overnight at many Pemex gas stations.
Some folks decide to
take advantage of lower medical & dental costs available in Mexico.
While Mexico has both excellent medical facilities, please make sure you
utilize ones that others have endorsed or use the services of a company
like Visit and Care
This site is operated as non-profit. Any advertising will be to offset costs only. Contact us via the contact button above.
This site is for all of Mexico. If
your interest is specifically Baja, there is a very extensive
forum which may be found at
http://forums.bajanomad.com
If you own an RV park, you can help by printing out this notice (English) and/or this notice (Francais) and posting it. Or if you are an RV owner & can do the same, we would very much appreciate
it. We have no problem with you posting about your RV park or Mexico related business
on our forum. You may post it in Spanish, we will translate.
I also have bumper stickers available, see the link on the right.
As for the fear factor, a friend of
mine has started a new site Crime
in Mexico. This is not one of those scare sites but a place to
find out where the trouble spots are.
