Ex-Pat Forum - This is a very active Forum for Expats including those to Mexico. Here you can probably get answers to nearly all your questions.
San Juan Del Lago - This is the website of a new RV Resort near Cuitzeo in Central Mexico on Mexico's second largest lake. It is also close to the Colonial City of Morelia and the Monarch Butterfly Preserve. They are also planning on doing caravans from the US. Arturo, the owner, speaks excellent English.

For first time Mexico RV'ers, a caravan
can be an excellent way to cut your teeth. Even those who are
experienced and want some extra security or companionship a caravan can
be useful. There are several companies out there, some better than
other. the only one I can personally recommend, since I happen to know
them (I went to school with the operator) is Baja & Back. That is not so
say there is anything wrong with the others. I only have ones listed
that I believe to be reputable.
